Much of Methtintdour has been set aside as 'natural land' by the Theign Supreme, and as such building new housing is a rare event. The many settlements around the Island provide a range of housing for locals looking to move, or set up their first home.

Locals looking to extend their dwelling, or build a new property must first seek approval from their local Theign.

For non locals who are looking to move to Methtintdour, you will need to make an appointment to see the Theign Supreme's land manager, located at Soulhill Castle. You will need to pass rigourous checks to ensure that you meet the criteria for residency.
