About Methtintdour

(Pronounce : Meth - tint - doo - ur)

Methtintdour was formed many millenia ago when the land masses of the Northern Hemipshere split along fault lines, causing the small land mass known today to break off and over time drift into the Greatswell sea.

It's Northern Lands were an inhospitable place, snows whipped around blinding any traveller, and this area was home only to Wizards of Great Power.

The Western Lands, and the Great Mountains, were constantly deluged with rain coming in from the Atlean Sea. Mists and fogs made travelling above ground notorious, but Dwarves - masters of the underground - carved great roads, caverns and mines in this area.

To the South of the Island fertile lands allowed man to settle and grow crops.

Before man, Dwarf, Wizards and other races settled, dragons ruled the entire Island. These magestic creatures are indigenous to Methtintdour, but were driven to the edges of the land in the early years by the ignorance of all races who settled on the Island. This inbalance has been gradually restored, and now all races on Methtintdour live side by side in harmony. The site of a mighty dragon soaring across a valley, or through the mountains is a breathtaking experience that many tourists return to see year after year.
